Dear Judd Orthodontic Patients and Family Members,
At Judd Orthodontics, our highest priority is the safety and well-being of our patients, staff and families of all those we are privileged to work with and treat on a daily basis.
To that end we would like to take this opportunity to inform you about what measures we take each day to protect you and our staff from all infectious diseases, including the current concerns with COVID-19, also know as the Corona Virus.
At Judd Orthodontics we use the measures recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) to guard against the spread of infectious disease, which includes job-specific training for infection control by a certified third party agency, proper hand hygiene, using recommended personal protection equipment such as gloves and masks, proper sharps safety, routine disinfection of the clinical and waiting areas and state-of-the-art sterilization techniques for all of our equipment.
We have monitoring systems and protocols in place to ensure these safety measures are being adhered to in our office. This has always been our policy, and we will continue to follow any updated recommended measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and any other infectious disease.
As an added measure, we ask that all patients who have any signs or symptoms, or who have any family members or acquaintances that may have signs or symptoms, of COVID-19, including a fever, runny nose, sore throat, difficulty breathing, cough, body aches, or chills, to not come to any regularly scheduled orthodontic visits.
